Catholic (3-6) takes on Central (2-7) this Friday at 7:00 PM. Neither team wants a repeat from last game, where each was handed a considerable defeat. Catholic wasn't able to scrape together any points last week, falling to Conway 31 - 0. Even though the blowout was expected (Catholic is far behind in the national rankings), the defeat still stung. As for Central, it suffered a painful 52 - 21 loss to Southside last week. The game was close at halftime with a score of 20 - 14, but Central simply couldn't keep up in the second half. The last time they met, the final might easily have been mistaken for a basketball score. Catholic walked away with a 70 - 56 win. Will it come out on top again? We'll soon find out.
